I have recently stayed at the cottage at hendry rhys Gethin as a suprise break away with my partner. The accommodation has a strong Welsh theme throughout even down to the paint on the walls.... Everything in the cottage is of a high quality, my favourite feature being the roll top Bath.
The owners of the accommodation were friendly and if you needed anything they were about most of the time (not that we did).
The surrounding area offers lots to do, whether that's a walk up the nearby hill or a short drive away to snowdon or zip world (some examples of things we did). There are also really lovely restaurants and take aways in Bettws y coed, which you can walk to from your stay. We sampled the pizza at the local pizza take our there it is very very good.
If you want some outdoor fun and a luxurious place to relax and unwind at the end of the day this is definitely the place for you.
